Does anyone know where I can find characters for a kids party? I want to get Blue from Blues Clues.?
I live in Long Island. I’m even having a hard time finding all the party favor stuff with Blues Clues. It seems that no one really carries it anymore. It’s my son’s favorite and I would love to make his day special!
I threw a Blues Clues party when my kid was 6 yrs old. It was a blast. Now I drew and colored my own characters. Each of the guests had to go to each character to find their 3 clues and the last one went to me "Steve-ette" so they could get their goody bag. I made sure to put a kazoo in each and made it so they got their goody bag at the start of the party. We sang all the songs and even got mail. I made the cake, blue frosting in the shape of a bone. I’m throwing a tea party for my 3 yr old sister and my 4 yr old cousins and I need some party favor ideas for there TEDDY BEARS??? I would prefer them to be ones I can buy from the dollar store or make w/ the kids…

I think the hats are a great idea – what about having an activity where the little girls ‘decorate’ their bears hats (and maybe even hats for themselves too) by gluing on things like fake flowers, ribbon trims, costume jewelry, etc. – all can be obtained at the dollar store or a craft store and little girls always love showing off things they created themselves! If not the hats – what about glitter and bead trims on sunglasses?

We are having my daughter’s 3rd birthday party at a little waterpark this year. We’re paying for everyone’s admission in to the park and will have cake around lunch time. We have a loose tinkerbell theme but we’re not doing much with that other than the invitations, cake, plates, and her cute tinkerbell bathing suit!
Anyway, do you think I need to put together party favors for the kids? They won’t be able to play with them at the park and will have to just bring them home. If yes, any inexpensive ideas?
send them home with goody bags…. you can give them to the kids just as they leave. Go to the dollar store and get little things to go in them… Small boxes of crayons, stickers, things like that… Maybe some candy… but not too much!
These are alot of fun for the little ones, and kind of extends the party fun for a while when they get home.
