For your princess you can have them make wands:
1) Small diamiter wooden dowell

2) Paint
3) Glitter
4) Foam Stars
5) Streamers
Paint the wooden dowells, add glitter, attach the streamers and star to the end.

Thomas’ 11th Birthday Party!~

THOMAS:
July 9th 2009… Video Game party! (Theme was supposed to be classic gaming but classic games didn’t hold the other people’s interest for very long)
Mom made the party for me. It was awesome. She drew on all of the balloons, made magnets, paper crafts and cupcakes. We all got little gifts, and I scored some cool toys (and cash). Then we played SC4 and smash bros on the wii.
KITTY: I know the cupcakes looks terribly bad. I am no pastry chef, clearly… The black and white ones are ’supposed’ to be space invaders, the red and white ones are Mario mushrooms. Each child got a treasure chest with gold and silver candy coins, a Pokemon puzzle cube, a noise maker and a random puzzle game ball. The magnets I made are not in this video. I made Mario magnets for the fridge to match the party theme.

I need activities or crafts for a two year olds birthday party. Any ideas?

The theme is Cars and there will be about 7 boys and girls ranging from 2 years to 7 years old. I will be a moonwalk there, but I would also like some other activities for them. Any ideas?

I don’t know if you have the food planned but my for my nephew’s 2nd birthday, my sister-in-law let them make their own pizzas. She used english muffins, sauce, pepperoni, and cheese, let them make them-they didn’t have to be perfect, and then baked them until they were warm. The kids loved it!

What kind of games or crafts can I do for my sons 7th bling, bling birthday party?

I have bought fake tatoos, necklaces, grillzs, rings, and fake money.

Well, the fake tattoos, grillz, etc. can be put into fancy looking party bags and called "swag" like what you would bet at a celebrity party. As for games & crafts:

-You can buy silver or gold colored beads for cheap at a craft store. Also, some silver and/or gold paints. The kids can string their "bling" and create a medallion for it and then paint it with glittery paints and put the child’s name with black paint. You can then attach the dried medallions with gold or silver pipe cleaners. OR have pre-spray painted noodles and macaroni instead of the beads. It will actually be MUCH cheaper than the beads come to think of it. And you can give the parents name labels that read *John’s Agent* but fill in their own kids’ name of course.

-If you have a Polaroid lying around (or any good camera really) you can have a photo shoot area. The nostalgic polaroids would give the feel of a photo shoot for a magazine or music video. You can have a staged area… maybe with a nice sheet or background and the kids can pretend to pose for a magazine or video shoot while the parents act as the photographers and take a few pictures. The rest of the film can be used throughout the rest of the party and afterwards you can make a "magazine" for your child to remember the event by.

-Oh, you can buy fake plastic goblets and have a relay game. You make 2 or 3 groups. Each person has a cup, and is spaced a longish running distance away in a line. At the end of the race there is a small bucket or cup larger than the goblets. The first child in each line gets their goblet (bling cup) filled to the very top with water. His/her job is to run or walk as fast as they can to the next person and put their water in that cup with the least spilling. This goes on until the last person in the line gets to the end bucket. The group with the most water in the bucket wins… but be sure to time the race so it makes it more exciting to be quick and not walk the whole way.

-Oh, I just noticed you say you already have necklaces… so instead of crafting their own necklaces: you can buy inexpensive caps or party fedoras at a party supply store and feathers, rhinestones, or other bling trims. The kids can decorate their own bling hats to wear.

You don’t want to overwhelm the kids or they’ll get frustrated fast. Maybe make sure when everyone gets there (hopefully on time)… you can begin with the hat decoration table… also have a light snack and drink so they don’t get hungry. Then do the race… if it’s fun enough the first try you can switch teams around and try again a few more times. Maybe even have a parents one where they have to do the race dancing to some tunes at the same time just for kicks… mix it up to your liking or party style. After that you can serve the cake and any other food if you had that planned… If you have cupcakes, they can be "bought" with some of the fake money. Once everybody settles down you can open gifts (if you prefer your child do it in front of his/her guests). Maybe even let the kids play amongst themselves and/or take more pictures. When the guests leave you can have your child thank their guests and the parents for coming and give them the "swag" treats as a thank you for their appearance and as a memento of a fabulous party!!! Have fun!!!
